NORTHEAST HOUSTON AQUATICS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The NEHA Sponsored Scholarships will be awarded to two NCISD high school senior(s) and one active NEHA member who best meet the requirements set forth by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship awards are limited to cover tuition and fees (up to $500). Award amounts are at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
The Selection Committee will review and score all submitted applications. Applicant’s references may be contacted by telephone. The Scholarship Committee may choose to interview applicants. The scholarship recipients will be notified by May 9, 2025.
Guidelines for the NEHA Sponsored Scholarship Program
Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors. Scholarship monies will be paid directly to the educational institution in the student's name.
Student applicants must meet the following guidelines:
1. Participated in a high school athletic swimming program for the 2024-2025 year.
2. Plan to attend an accredited college or university on a full-time basis.
3. Must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
4. Must have acquired acceptance to or be enrolled at the college of his/her choice and must be an enrolled full-time student for
the fall semester of 2025.
Student applicants should note any special financial needs on their application form.
All applications and supporting documents must be received no later than April 18, 2025. Please advise your high school registrar of this deadline for submission of transcripts and other supporting documentation.
